When a friend has turned against me

A friend has turned against me.
I have committed no offense,
Yet he has cut me off.
I am betrayed.
Out of the blue he called;
Called and asked me to leave,
To discontinue my fellowship.
He whom I called brother.
He did not mention the offense for which I am accused
And convicted.
The Holy Spirit has convicted me of nothing in this regard.
Indeed, it was only through the answers of another
That I disovered the accusation.
A baseless accusation.
God knows I am innocent in this regard,
And I do not need to prove it.
I have asked my friend to forgive whatever I have done,
And I have forgiven him for whatever he has done.
When the time comes,
And he is ready,
I will be here for my friend.
The pain is there.
I have never before felt such betrayal.
But the Lord is with me.
He will comfort me and lead me on.
I must trust in Him alone.
When the time comes,
And he is ready,
I will be here for my friend.
